Hello,
My name is Ryan Batisto. From a very young age I have wanted to be a teacher. Some of my biggest influences and role models are the teachers I had growing up. I spent the first eighteen years of my life in a city named Florissant just outside of St.Louis, Missouri where I attended school in the Ferguson-Florissant School District and graduated from McCluer North High School in 2014. After graduating, I attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa where I studied Music Education and was involved in activities such as being a member of the Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity, competing on the varsity swim team, and running the school radio station KCOE. After graduating from Coe in 2018, I took my first teaching position in the Springville Community School District teaching K-12 general music and choir from August 2018 to present. As a professional goal, I intend to continue my education both in educational practices as well as in music and would like to pursue music composition. I pride myself on being able to work successfully with a wide variety of students and colleagues and look forward to spending my life educating others.
